Burna AI grows by putting the same engine into new lanes before building a new engine for a new market. Same engine, new lane: postmarket pharmacovigilance, where spontaneous reports run through the same criteria, coding and attribution as trial events; gene therapy long-term follow-up, with participants reporting through Healthnotes for as long as the protocol requires; and adjacent therapeutic areas that already use CTCAE, such as cardio-oncology and rare disease. New engine, new market: psychiatric adverse event grading on its own scales, which needs a separate engine and comes later. Three lanes were removed by design: AI that recommends chemotherapy dose changes, tumor response reads such as RECIST, and the sponsor-cloud deployment design withdrawn in August 2026.
