CTCAE GRADING

How long does Burna AI take to grade an adverse event?

For every adverse event in a note, in one pass, Burna AI produces a proposed CTCAE grade, per-drug WHO-UMC and Kramer attribution and a MedDRA Lowest Level Term code, each traced to the sentence in the record that produced it. Recorded encounters are graded automatically once the recording becomes a note, so the clinician's time goes to reviewing the evidence and signing rather than assembling it. By hand, one event commonly takes 15 to 20 minutes: reading the note, finding the right term among 850 in CTCAE v6.0 (837 in v5.0), applying its criteria, judging attribution and writing it up. For a research site, the result is capacity: more trials with the same research team.
